It's a different attitude certainly, but it works for me, and if the game dies I really won't care all that much. So I target one skill at a time, level it up, then move onto the next one, making sure it's as afk as humanly possible. I can understand how that is a bit of a poor attitude to have, but I don't really actively play much, and it's genuinely just nice to set myself a little goal and see it go up over time. I view the game essentially as almost an idle game, I afk some skills up and I watch as big number goes up = dopamine increase. So, from my point of view, I don't massively care that quality has dipped a bit, because I still have thousands of hours of content to get through, as my goal is 5.6b. I haven't spent money on Runescape for years now. I am however one of the people who doesn't pay for member, I buy bonds to pay for it in-game. Thinking that paying via bonds is fighting against Jagex's prices is fairly moronic. Was just something I noticed.įair enough.
